Wednesday 30th June saw our grand final of Larkmead’s Got Talent. We were delighted with the high standard and variety of acts that took part in the earlier two rounds of auditions and all finalists produced an excellent show. The Year 9 video production team (Jack, Joseph, Conor, Edward) created some wonderful clips from the audition stages that were shared with the audience throughout the evening and really added a sense of showbiz to the occasion!
The Year Group winners, voted by the audience, were:
Year 7 – Reilee  (vocal solo: Hallelujah)
Year 8 – Ndojime (dance performance: Step Up to Final)
Year 9 – Jilaine  (vocal and guitar solo: Hey Soul Sister)
Year 10 – Becky and Natalie (vocal duet: What is this Feeling? From Wicked)

The Best Instrumentalist, voted for by the judges and winning a £50 voucher kindly donated by Fine Guitars, was Dan (guitar performance: Shoot to Thrill, AC/DC). The Best Vocalist, voted for by the judges and winning a recording session kindly donated by AWC studios, was Hollie (vocal solo: Maybe This Time). The Best Dance/Drama Act, voted for by the judges and winning a £50 voucher for Centre Stage, was Ndojime.
